We all need to regularly recharge in order to maintain and optimise our energy levels. Just like we do with our phones, we need to plug ourselves in to renew our energy. Unfortunately, with the demands of the modern world, we can get caught up with the busyness and stuck ‘on’, leaving us feeling wired and tired; drained and depleted, unable to fully recharge and suffering the consequences.
Resilience training teaches us to become aware of our how we are feeling and when and how our body is losing energy. The training helps us to learn how to balance our energy, retrain our focus, shift our perspective and recharge our energy banks. Tools and strategies are provided that will allow you to take control of intense emotional responses which can sometimes leave us feeling debilitated. To be able to prepare for, and recover from stressful situations effectively; to change reactive patterns and instead face the day and it’s challenges with confidence and ease. In situations of high pressure, stress and anxiety, we can learn to control the body’s response and deal with the situation in a much more effective manner.
By enhancing our performance in demanding situations and becoming more emotionally balanced, we can vastly improve many areas of our lives. As well as the improvements to your health, the reduction in stress will enhance your mood and your energy levels. The knock-on effect to your career and personal relationships will give you a happier and more harmonious life.
Beyond our HeartMath supported Resilience Training, we offer further support in which we delve deeper into ancient wisdom, current science and additional techniques.
We’re only human and each of us are doing our best we can with what we know. We didn’t design or chose this body we’re each living in with it’s reactions and hormones and feelings. We all suffer from the same negative programming. We have a tendency to self-sabotage; we seek immediate gratification instead of sticking with our planned long-term goals; we suffer from fear, anger, guilt, shame, stress, addiction and illness. To compound this, we often then try to numb or attack these uncomfortable feelings and behaviours.
What’s needed instead is to meet ourselves with nurture and understanding. Once we realise that these issues are common to us all, it’s not our fault and they are part of our humanity, we can begin to turn inward, develop a more nurturing relationship with ourselves and be responsible for the life we wish to create.
Taking control and making a positive change isn’t always easy, but at Revive in 10 we’re here to inspire, help you dream, get you started and support you in your journey towards the best you. Once we begin to chip away at your old unhelpful behaviours, we can create newer, more helpful patterns that support health and flourishing. You can set out to be who you were meant to be!
The small changes we make in our lives will build up and have a big impact over time. We believe in the incremental accumulation of small, achievable targets in the direction you wish to travel, surrounded by self-compassion as a pathway to optimise your life.
